Statement from East of England Ambulance Service: “We were called at 9.40am to a report of a collision between a lorry and car on the M25.
“A rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer and ambulance crew attended to a man, believed to be in his 30s, who had arm and side pain.
“He was taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further care”.
Kent County Council Highways: “All lanes have reopened and traffic has been released on the A282 anti clockwise between Junction 3 and the Dartford Tunnel following an earlier RTC at Junction 31 in Essex.
“Long delays remain on the M25 anti clockwise approach.
Delays also remain on the following roads: – A2 London bound between B255 Bean Lane and M25 Junction 2. – A206 Bob Dunn Way and Crossways Boulevard approaches to M25 Junction 1a. – A255 Princes Road, heading towards the M25 J1b. Please allow extra time for your journey.
From Kent Police Roads Unit: “They hope to open the road in less than 30 mins. Injured parties still being treated in the carriageway at this time.
The casulty was released by 11:10am and left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
Dartford Crossing north bound remains blocked while emergency services deal with the ongoing collision.
M25 ACW delays are back to J3.
Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the M25 near junction 31 (Lakeside).
When crews arrived they reported one male was trapped in his vehicle.
