THE THURROCK International Celebration of will be popping up in Grays again on the 8th July for the Pop Up Microfest!
This is the 7th year that that TICC have organised the popular street event which will take place on the pavement outside the KT American Nail Spa in George street from 10am – 2pm. The audition process has started and TICC has secured numerous acts to reflect Thurrock’s wonderful diversity and entertain the crowds!
Last year African singers met Nepalese dancers while Thurrock artists held a paint off alongside brilliant guitarists. The day was rounded off by children from Temple Springs Music School jamming in the street.
The festival organisers are hoping for a sunny day and a good turnout, TICC Chairman Neil Woodbridge said ” Last year was amazing – we had a great day with 15 acts representing all the nations and communities of Thurrock. We have great social media coverage and the live stream was watched by people from around the world”
Here is last year’s film.
