Man charged over using false passport to open bank account

A MAN has been sent for trial over an allegation that he opened a bank account by using a false passport.

Aristide Ebila-Bouesse, aged 35, of Colne, Tinkers Bridge, Milton Keynes was charged with the following.

On 24/04/2018 at Grays committed fraud in that you dishonestly made a false representation, namely provided a fraudulent passport and Thames Water utility bill, intending to make a gain, namely opening a bank account under a false name, for yourself.

On 24/04/2018 at Grays possessed or controlled an identity document that was false and that you knew or believed was false, namely a passport in the name of Mr Ezekies Mboungou, with the intention of using the document to establish personal information about you.

A trial date of September 6th at Basildon Crown Court has been set.
