GRAYS Athletic Youth football team has received a £1,500 donation from the Amazon fulfilment centre in Tilbury. This marks the second year running that the Amazon team has supported the football club, following a £1,500 donation in 2018.

THURROCK'S LGBT+ Community Network is delighted to announce it has bagged £1,000.00 from Tesco’s Bags of Help community grant scheme. Bags of Help is run in partnership with environmental charity Groundwork, and sees grants awarded to thousands of local community projects every year. Since launching in 2015, it’s provided more than £79 million to over 26,000 local community projects.

ESSEX Wildlife Trust is hosting a ‘WILD’ children’s festival at their Thurrock Thameside Nature Park on Saturday 17 August, in order to educate and enthral children about wildlife and nature.

CONTACT the Elderly Thurrock were treated today to a fabulous tea party at the Stifford Hotel hosted by Wyldecrest Parks Charitable Trust.

THIS year’s annual Fun Walk (again hosted by Barleylands Farm) has announced it is making good progress towards its event on 8 September. Last year, the event raised £100,000 for nearly 100 charities – bringing the total monies raised since inception in 2002 to £1,064,000.
