T-BIRDS travelled to Worthing this weekend to supplement their fitness regime , beating Worthing, Southampton, and the Barbarian. They then narrowly lost to the Army side, Pirates but still managed to win the Trophy and more importantly the case of sponsors Heineken beer!

Harlow got off to a shaky start with 2 early wickets falling from the bowling of G Pavitt and S Khan, with the innings at 44 for 3 it was the batting of U Jan with 93 and the impressive A Khawaja with an unbeated 110 that took the game away for the borough side. The home team winning the game comfortably with 8 overs to spare. Skipper Sargent, we lost a few early wickets which really slowed us down and although 284 seems a good score the batting track was hard and flat. The two Harlow players batted well and took the game away from us.
The Belhus batting machine clicked into gear for the third eleven's visit to Colchester Rugby Club on Saturday. Openers Tom Thompson and Jim Robertson both scored 40, while Michael Cansdale contributed a further 42 runs. Jake Wolfe hit 22, while captain Stuart Morris collected 19 runs. John Forrest ensured that the first six batsmen all made double figures by scoring 15, while Daniel Dreher hit a quickfire 23 not out as Belhus declared after 52 overs.
