Public Information Event being held for demolition of Marston House

The Thurrock Learning Campus will play a key role in increasing the opportunities for local people to gain the skills and knowledge needed to access high quality and well paid employment. The 15,000 sq.m campus will also provide Further Education and opportunities for adult community education and work based learning.

Public service students ride the seas

The two-day residential trip tested the students’ sailing ability together with skills in planning, leadership, teamwork and problem solving. Students learned to sail in all directions and are now able to sail in light winds under supervision. With the support of qualified instructors and dedicated lecturers they sailed through their Royal Yachting Association Level 1 Dinghy Sailing qualification.
