This was a lavish production with expensive props and effects so they had to sell seats and they did so in spades. Not a seat in the house for the Friday and Saturday shows so well done to all the team for getting those seats filled.

While two firefighters were inspecting the second property, two of their colleagues remained in the appliance which was pelted with fireworks. The firefighters were unhurt and there was no damage to the appliance but it was reported as a near miss.

Firefighters were called to tackle a fire in a flat on the second floor of a high rise block. Several floors of the building were affected by smoke and crews evacuated families inside. ECFRS received a number of calls alerting crews to the incident and sent a pre-determined number of appliances - four pumps and an aerial ladder platform - because the fire involved a high rise block.
