Year 6 is the final year at Primary schools and a very important one too! The children learn to become more independent in preparation for secondary school. Wednesday 6th October sees the Job Shop arrive at the Gateway Academy. This is a partnership between the Job Centre and the Gateway Academy. It will be held between 10am and 2pm.
The celebration itself gave the children and adults from our cheder (Sunday school) a chance to put into practice all they have been learning about this exciting festival. It was a truly wonderful experience; the sun even shone down on us whilst we recited the brachot!
