PURFLEET celebrates its community at a special event to highlight the diversity of cultures which work and live together. Purfleet Primary School hosts the “One Thurrock” event on Thursday November 29th where community groups will join members of the school community to celebrate the differences of the area and borough as a whole.
Ian and Elisa travelled extensively with their visual mindreading and magic show performing on cruise ships and theatres all over the world. They are very excited about performing in Grays because of being Ian’s local theatre and close to the area where he grew up.

THE THURROCK LIFESTYLE Solutions team passed the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service Firebreak course with flying colours. The week long course at the Corringham Fire station is a highly demanding course in which the team have to learn a whole host of key skills relating to fire safety.
Tours of the Production Workshops offer a revealing insight into the skills necessary to create world class theatre sets. Led by an expert tour guide, the tours visit the scenic paint shop, the build area, and the carpentry workshop to see how sets and scenery are constructed. Visitors have access to the unique viewing galleries used by the artists and craftspeople to view their work from above.

TOWIE'S Lucy Meckleburgh lit up the MacMillan coffee morning at Orsett Hall on Friday morning. Resplendent in a lime green dress and trailed by a number of papparazzi, Lucy played host as a large number of friends enjoyed coffee as well as shopping in a number of stalls which certainly had an "Only Way is Essex" feel to them.
