Emotional scenes at Pink Floyd tribute fundraiser for hospices

Ray became emotional as he sang but carried on despite this which a lot of people respected and people stood to applaud once it had finished. The sombre ood was broken a couple of songs later with the classic “Another Brick In The Wall” which featured students from the JTD Dance and Drama school, this was a really nice touch. After playing their final song “Comfortably Numb” the audience demanded an encore which came back in the style of “Run Like Hell.” This got everyone on their feet and clapping along to and was a great energetic end to the show.

Dreams come true as local children to perform in pantomime

Over 100 children turned up for the audition and Darren Maddison, Producer of Polka Dot Pantomimes and Wain Douglas who as well as an Ugly Sister is also the Choreographer this year were very impressed with the high level of ability from all the youngsters. They will meet up in November to start rehearsals before the big opening on Friday 7 December 2012

Camp Rylan camps it up in X-Factor Bootcamp

STANFORD-LE-HOPE diva Rylan Clark survived the X Factor Bootcamp through a mixture of theatrics that seemed to impress the judges. A third of the 211 contestants who made it through the audition never even got to bootcamp.

Film Festival to return for second year

Now the focus is on planning and organising the next festival. Co-founders Natalie Williams and Benjamin Scarsbrook are already hard at work securing feature films and special guest speakers for next year’s event. Details of film submission deadlines will be available on the festivals website in the coming weeks.

From children to Adults, it’s a tall order to find 28 wives and 68 children ranging in age along with men who don’t mind filling the role of slaves.
