FOLLOWING on from the success of its singing courses over the past three years, Thurrock Choral Society has announced that the next singing course takes place this autumn, beginning on Wednesday 12th September for 10 weeks at Grays Parish Church Hall.

There are three different workshops to choose from, suitable for different ages and interests. Two different week-long technical workshops will create a soundscape and short film pieces from audio and visual materials, vintage and new, including extracts of music from opera and ballet and other sounds such as water, speech and everyday sounds. These workshops are open to everyone aged 12 and above.

This was the all winners though and groups from all over the country made the journey to the the delightful Thwaites theatre ,a 1930's built former cinema.
