A SUSPECTED loan shark from Thurrock is due to appear at Basildon Crown Court this Friday (27th July) for a plea and case management hearing in relation to illegal money lending, money laundering and four charges in relation to the handling of stolen goods (namely vehicle parts.)
Police were called at just after 10.20pm on Wednesday (July 25th) after reports of two men lying injured in the street.
One man received treatment for a minor injury. Another man was taken to Queens hospital in Romford where his injuries were described as "serious but not life threatening."
A collision occurred at about 8.05pm last night, Tuesday, July 24, on Church Road, Bulphan, junction with the A128, between a white Ford Transit van and a white and blue Suzuki GSXR 100 motorbike.
Road Policing Sergeant Simon Willsher said: "Drivers need to be aware of the consequences of their anti-social behaviour and consider the impact of their actions to residents and local people. Offending will land anti-social drivers in court.”

Two men and a boy were arrested after a vehicle failed to stop at a police check site at Corringham. They were arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police and on suspicion of three burglaries at Corringham. A 22-year-old man from Grays and a boy aged 15 also from Grays were later bailed until August 31 pending further enquiries. A 21-year-old man from Grays was later released without charge.

The crime happened in Linford when thieves have entered the rear garden of a house on Muckingford Road overnight Monday, July 2 / Tuesday, July 3 and stolen a green Patton barbecue, a silver stainless-steel fridge and a mini stainless-steel outdoor heater.
Later that day, another construction worker was stopped on the A13 and subsequently charged with one count of aggravating vehicle taking relating to an offence in Devon in August 2011. The 24-year-old man was also released on police bail prior to his appearance Plymouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 29.
Magistrates were told he had been allocated a council property in Clayburn Gardens, South Ockendon and sub-let it and was living in North London. He had also failed to declare his income from his tenant.
At 2.30am on Saturday July 7, 2012, at Roding Avenue, a woman was assaulted near to Balstonia Park whilst on her way home. She was hit around the head and had several items of personal property taken from her handbag including cash.
