TWO MEN were in custody this weekend following a high speed chase in Purfleet. The alleged incident occurred at 6.50pm on Friday July 6th when a purple Kia Sportage failed to stop for police.

A DERELICT building was set alight on Monday night in Woodward Heights, Grays. Firefighters tackled a fire involving a derelict demountable building in the grounds of a disused school.

We desperately want to get these items back for the victim, so if you can help us please do the right thing and call us.”
Detectives are keen to identify a man captured on CCTV who is white, aged in his early 20s, approximately six foot tall, of slim to medium build and has short dark hair. Officers are also keen to identify and locate a small white or silver van, possibly a Ford Connect van, which is believed to have been used during the course of the shooting.
ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses and any other information from members of the public about incidents resulting in serious injuries on Friday June 15 into Saturday June 16 2012.
