At 10.30pm on Wednesday, September 1, a suspect rode past the victim on a pedal cycle and grabbed her handbag. After a struggle, the suspect snatched the bag and its contents, worth an estimated £150 and rode off. The victim received minor scratches and reddening to her arms and hands.

All three incidents happened between 10pm on Sunday, August 29 and 10am the next day. In Tamarisk Road, Aveley, the windows of a Ford Mondeo and a Ford Fiesta were smashed, causing a total damage of £275. In Derry Avenue, South Ockendon, a BMW also had its window smashed, causing £300 damage.
Saulius Klevinskas, 35-year-old, of Grays, Essex, was attacked in Balmoral Road at 0820 BST on Saturday. Kent Police said Mr Klevinskas, who was originally from Lithuania, died at about 2200 BST on Thursday.

BRIDE and groom were being questioned tonight after being arrested at the altar in Tilbury on suspicion of staging a sham marriage, investigators said.

Police are appealing for information about a robbery in Corringham Park, Gordon Road, Corringham at shortly before 7 pm on Monday, 23 August. A 30-year-old local Corringham man was followed on foot by three white men in the area of Bellmaine Avenue, Corringham into Corringham Park off Gordon Road.
Seven crews were sent to the fire at the former Lang Viet restaurant, in London Road. Fire broke out at around 4.50pm on friday and had spread to three quarters of the building, across two floors.
