FORTH Ports Limited and Port of Zeebrugge / MBZ have today (19 June 2013) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which marks the start of a strategic agreement between the Port companies with the aim of the exploring mutual opportunities to attract new container cargo volumes.

DP WORLD London Gateway, the UK’s new deep-sea port and Europe’s largest logistics park, are to hold a trio of exclusive presentation events in the U.S.A in mid-June to promote its super-port, which opens in the autumn. Designed and built to reduce supply chain costs, the London Gateway port will facilitate new routing opportunities between the USA and UK and is integrated with Europe’s largest logistics park at 9.25 million sq ft.

The Thurrock Low Carbon Business Programme has assisted HW Wilson with a grant to the tune of £972 for a new boiler; the Wharf Group (KS Timber) with £1,632 for a diesel particulate filter fitted to one of their lorries; and £1257.06 for the Your Style Salon, for new heaters and double glazing.
