The CDS is a specialised service providing NHS dental treatment (by referral only) to more than 2,000 patients in south west Essex, costing the primary care trust in the region of £1 million each year. The primary care trust is reviewing the community dental service and we want to get the views of people who have accessed it, so that we understand their requirements for dental services in the future.

C2C have been named as the most punctual rail company in Britain in February. The London to Tilbury and Southend firm achieved 96.5% punctuality.

Tilbury crime crackdown in police day of action

Road stop check points were set up across the area to stop people travelling to the area to commit burglary and other crime. More than 190 stop checks were carried out, with 11 of these being searched, three vehicles were seized and 14 people were reported for traffic related offences such as no insurance, driving without a seatbelt and using a mobile phone whilst driving.
