A DROP-IN meeting for veterans, serving personnel and their families will be held on Tuesday, July 15 at The Beehive in Grays. ON Monday June 23 at 11:15am, a female suspect distracted a member of staff whilst a male suspect concealed four pairs of designer sunglasses in his pockets before leaving the store without making an attempt to pay. AN attempt to smuggle more than three million cigarettes into the UK has been foiled by Border Force officers at the Port of Purfleet. The criminals responsible had concealed the 3,251,080 mixed brand cigarettes inside water storage heaters that had been shipped to the UK from Zeebrugge inside a trailer.
