TV star Jeff Brazier to star in Thameside pantomime!

POPULAR TV star Jeff Brazier is to star in this year's pantomime at the Thameside Theatre. The announcement was made on the Thameside Theatre's Facebook page on Wednesday night.

They completely improvise a musical from beginning to end with help from the audiences suggestions. Thurrock traders warned over banned cosmetics

TRADERS in Thurrock are being warned they could face a fine of up to £5,000 if they sell cosmetics containing the banned substance hydroquinone. The warning comes after Thurrock Council’s trading standards officers caught an importer at Tilbury Port importing unsafe products.

A SURVEY designed to capture local people’s views on end of life care has attracted more than 400 responses, with many people sharing personal stories that demonstrate how crucial high quality end of life services are for both patients and their families and carers.

Emergency fund launched for seafarers

SEAFARERS' charity Apostleship of the Sea (AoS) has launched a maritime emergency fund which aims to provide fast and modest cash grants to seafarers in difficulties. The dedicated fund is designed to respond to emergency financial or welfare requests from seafarers or their families in less than 24 hours, taking the immediate pressure off a stressful situation.
