Thurrock grabbed a vital three points in an impressive display and victory against fellow strugglers Lewes. The game started briskly as an early free kick for Lewes after foul on Lewis Ide but the kick was driven harmlessly wide. Rob Swaine looked bright up front but it was Lewes enjoying the majority of possession although most of the early exhanges were marked by mistimed passes and challenges.
This show really does have the ‘feel good factor’. From the moment you walk in the door we were treated to the Eurovision Experience. Cheesy as it is, it really cheered up a cold winter’s night.

Saturday 1st X1 - Player of the Year - Gavin Jefferies. Gavin topped the SNEL Div 3 batting averages and finished 4th overall in the League batting averages. Saturday 2nd X1 - Player of the Year - Michael Cansdale. Despite his ills in an on and off season Michael managed some very good batting and bowling and fully deserved the acolade.

A total of ten GP practices are currently run directly by the primary care trust; the other practices across south west Essex are run by GPs themselves. NHS South West Essex is inviting other organisations to apply to take over the management of these ten surgeries in line with national guidance. The second phase is about to start and letters will be sent to patients at The Brambles Practice in Brentwood at the end of November. Patients can give their feedback by completing and returning the feedback form we are sending them. There will also be a drop-in session at the practice, where patients can come along and find out more.
