As Tilbury went on the search for an equaliser, Redbridge caught Tilbury on two successful breaks which were both supurbly denied by goalkeeper James Marrable. However, as Redbridge tried to run the clock down, a run by Jack West saw his eventual shot deflected for corner.

THE DOCKERS came back from a shock own goal in the second minute to claim a well earned victory against Great Wakering Rovers at Chadfields on Saturday. Boss Paul Vaughan said: "The opening goal was a bit of a shocker but we are made of stern stuff now and did well to come back."
DESPITE a hard earned draw at home to play off contenders Kingstonian, Aveley fell to the bottom of the Ryman Premier table yesterday. The two relegation spots seem to be between five clubs but Aveley, despite never being outclassed are going to have to pick up three points in matches pretty soon.
Harlow were largely the better side in the first half and deserved their lead, but East Thurrock came back strongly after the break and in the closing stages came close to snatching the spoils. In the end honour was deservedly even, with both goalkeepers basking in glory after some fine saves.
Once again Thurrock where caught with a quick goal after a restart, within three minutes of the second half Farnborough extended their lead. The goal came from a free kick wide on the right close to the by line. The ball went deep to the far post where James Smith was unmarked and he headed in from close range.
All five teams have much to play for on Saturday. Thurrock look to continue their climb up the table and it will be interesting to see how Sam Higgins performs as he returns for East Thurrock.
EAST THURROCK have made a key signing with the news that former top scorer has re-signed for them from Chelmsford City. Higgins netted 16 times in 27 games for the Blue Square Bet South high-flyers, including seven in the Clarets' run to the second round of the FA Cup but has now had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
Grays travel to Cheshunt tonight who pulled off the shock of the season by beating Needham Market 2-0 on Saturday. This may be a good time to play them as that is a high that you may well come down from.
