A NEW Hospice Heart Partnership project (HHP) has been launched by St. Luke’s Hospice aimed at supporting people with Heart Failure. The project will implement a shared care pathway between the Cardiology team at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, the North East London Trust Community Heart Failure team and St. Luke’s Hospice.
ST Luke’s Hospice is raising public awareness during ‘Dying Matter’s Week’ (14th to 20th May) about planning and choices at the End of Life, at a series of events across Basildon and Thurrock.
THE Fundraising Team at St. Luke’s Hospice are looking for ‘fun loving’ people willing to volunteer and offer their help at Hospice events and in their office.
THURROCK music group, Quest Music Services, and community fundraising project, Giving for Thurrock, are inviting locals to come along to their fundraising charity disco at The Civic Hall on May 4th. All ages will be welcome to join in and boogie through a selection of music spanning six decades.
THERE are three care homes within Thurrock so, this is very much a local cause. They provide excellent care for our elderly citizens and rely solely on charitable donations. Please dig deep!
AWARD-winning local business owner, Benjamin Scarsbrook from Blatella Films, competed in Strictly Air Ambulance 2018 on Saturday night, an annual ballroom dancing competition held by Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust in order to raise funds for the charity.
