The second incident was reported to police at 9.30am this morning when a 20 year old man from Grays, attending a health centre, also reported being assaulted. He said that he was in the Crown Road area of Grays when he approached by a group of men around 3.30am who then assaulted him and stole his wallet containing cash and bank cards.
A total of 32 vehicles were seized for having no insurance, including a car borrowed by a family heading from the Southend area for a camping holiday in the West Country. The car was taken to a pound until it could be insured.

A MAN was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Corringham on saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old was stabbed several times in the St Johns Mews area of the town, just after 3pm.
