It was around midnight on May 28th when three friends were walking along Stifford Road, South Ockendon after being at the cinema at Lakeside. They were approached by five young men who then assaulted two of them and stole a mobile phone.

The victim made contact with a man, claiming to be from a gardening company, after she received a flyer through her letterbox. Three men turned up on Monday, May 17, and carried out some minimal garden work. They then asked for money and drove the woman to two cash machines, asking her to draw out £600 in total. They then dropped her home, took their business flyer from her and left without completing the garden work.
The attack happened in Chafford Hundred when a then 25-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in a flat off Hedingham Road at approximately 2:30pm on Friday, December 4, 2009.
