FIRE CREWS were called to a single storey industrial" workshop on fire in Peartree Lane, Bulphan. On arrival at just after 1230pm (Sunday) crews reported the building measures approximately 20 x 5 metres and the property was well alight.

Man cut free from car after crash in Port of Tilbury

FIRE crews were called to a crash involving one car between berth five and six at Tilbury Docks. One man was trapped and crews used specialist cutting equipment to release the casualty by 06:53hrs (May 21st). The man was placed in the care of the Ambulance Service.

Police appeal after woman assaulted at Lakeside

TWO women had an argument in the intu Lakeside Shopping Centre car park, outside the Primark store. It happened at around 7.10pm on Friday, May 9. During the argument, one woman, in her 30s and from Grays, was assaulted and received minor injuries. Another woman, in her 20s and also from Grays, gave an account of her actions to investigating officers.
