Since then he as been building up his repertoire as well as his live presentation. Last night, Charlie put in a storming set at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.

Local artists will have a chance to present their work, alongside Ko, at the first Open Vision Night to be held in the Thameside Theatre bar. The event will be an opportunity for visual artists to show 20 images of their work, in a 4 minute slot. Open Vision Night will take place on Wednesday 13th October at 7.30 pm.

Ben is a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with Patrick Harrild, Sian Edwards and Sir Colin Davis, and was the Principal Tuba of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain as well as playing with the likes of Staffordshire, Carlton Main and Black Dyke bands.

HUNDREDS of adoring fans flocked to the central atrium at Lakeside to see boy-band JLS sign copies of their new book. Aston, JB, Marvin and Oritsé mingled with fans, signed autographs before climbing onstage to a symphony of screams from adoring fans who travelled far and wide to see the band.

Fans must collect a wristband when they buy their book in order to join the queue to meet the boys. Wristbands will be available from Monday 27th September and availability will be limited, so fans are advised to arrive early.
All acts will be asked to perform to ‘Hairspray’s ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’ for two to three minutes.
Individual performers’ auditions are from 9.30am to 11am, latest registration 12pm. Performers will need a CD with the appropriate sound or backing track.
