RYMAN Premier League side Grays Athletic today fended off a winding-up moves brought against it by an Essex sporting goods retailer at London's High Court. One of the country’s top insolvency judges, Registrar Sally Barber, formally dismissed the petition brought by Chelmsford-based sporting goods retailer Prokit UK against the club on request from Prokit's lawyers.
STANFORD-LE-HOPE boxer, John Wayne Hibbert was floored on Saturday, not by his opponent but by the Sky TV schedules. Wayne was due to fight at the Excel Arena on the Fight Night bill on Sky TV.

A JUNIOR Dadson brace gave Harlow an impressive win to move them up into the playoff positions. A goal in each half from Dadson helped continue Harlows great run. Harlow were looking to make their unbeaten run stretch to eleven games against a mid table Aveley who were looking to cause an upset. The visitors started brightly with good stages of possession but failed to create any real chances. A MAJOR sports company has petitioned the High Court to put Grays Athletic into administration over a £4,500 unpaid kit bill. Chelmsford company Prokit Limited has petitioned the High Court of Justice to wind up a company called Grays Athletic Football Club (1982) Limited.
