THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE of Grays Athletic, Andy Swallow has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police over suspicion to commit violence.
YT understands that Swallow, 51, Biscayne Avenue, London was arrested at his Canary Wharf flat on Saturday February 4th, the morning of the West Ham versus Millwall football match.
At Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (February 15th) Thurrock’s prosecutor explained that complaints had begun in December 2010 about regular and ongoing noise nuisance caused by a dog barking loudly at her home. Following a number of visits to the address, including one where Environmental Health Officers recorded around 220 barks in 10 minutes, a Noise Abatement notice was served in May 2011.

A PURFLEET MAN'S anxiety over his son after hearing he had been injured in battle was the cause of his drinking and driving a court heard. Tony Johnson aka Tony Turner, 50, River Court, Purfleet told Basildon magistrates court that after hearing the news that his son had been shot in the leg in Afghanistan, he drove to the Royal Hotel in Purfleet.
Cardinal Jordan, 22, Pacific Road, London was caught by store detectives whilst trying to steal a £94.99 Superdry body warmer from the House of Fraser. Upon being searched, he was found to have on his possession, a £25 IPad dock stolen from the Apple Store nearby.

At around 4am to 4.30am on January 24, a Ford Fiesta was set alight in Defoe Parade, Chadwell St Mary, causing £400 damage. Police were called to the offices of the Inland Revenue in Crown Road, Grays at 10.40 hrs this morning after reports that a man in a highly agitated state and armed with a knife was threatening to self harm.

Homes in the borough have received flyers claiming to be from the charity “Troop Aid” which ask residents to leave out donations of unwanted clothing for collection. Investigations by Trading Standards officers found the flyers are not from this genuine registered charity which only uses branded bags for charity collections not flyers.
Girling, Wellington Road, Tilbury pled guilty to driving as Ford Focus on Toronto Road, Tilbury on the 11th November, last year, whilst twice over the legal limit. He also pled guilty to driving whilst disqualified. Instead of prison, he was given another ban of three years and four months at Basildon magistrates court.
Today’s action by officers from both forces, supported by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, saw search warrants executed in Ramsgate, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Tenterden in Kent. Further arrests were made at addresses in Thanet and Herne Bay and in Grays and Romford in Essex and Canning Town in East London.
