TWO teenagers have appeared at Basildon Magistrates Court over the alleged stabbing of a ticket inspector at East Tilbury railway station on Friday night.
Charles Culley, 19 from Darwin Road, Tilbury and a 17-year-old male that cannot be named for legal reasons were remanded to appear at Basildon Crown Court on the 9th March next year.

DETECTIVES investigating the stabbing of a rail ticket inspector in East Tilbury on Friday night have arrested two people. A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested in Tilbury on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

BTP said the inspector had asked two men without tickets, aged about 18, to leave the train. They got off, but one returned and stabbed him in the back. The inspector was said to be in a comfortable condition in hospital.
