FIRE crews from across the county fought to contain an inflammable liquid spillage at Tilbury docks this afternoon. Firefighters worked to contain 33,000 litres of volatile and flammable ethanol which was pouring from a container.
The production was a spectacular success and this is largely down to the generosity of spirit and time of the countless local people, young and old, who have contributed to the creation of the work over the last 15 months. It truly would not have happened without you.

REHEARSALS for all the Christmas shows were buried under the blizzards but in true tradition, the shows went on. Gateway Academy put on a two hour spectacular which showcased the incredible talent across the years at the school.
The donation has meant the charity has been able to buy some new gaming equipment which will be used by parents and children to help rebuild damaged relationships. It helps children overcome any anxiety or fear they have and improve their mental and emotional wellbeing.
