Leanne Crickmar (23), Lionel Oxley House, Grays, has been issued with a five-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order after pleading guilty to breaching a Noise Abatement Notice. On Wednesday (March 21st) Basildon Magistrates heard that Thurrock Council Environmental Protection Officers had seized television sets, a DVD and CD player and speakers in December 2011 after the notice was breached a number of times.
On Thursday (22 March) Basildon Magistrates heard that Bing Fai Chan, who lives in Harlow, had been issued with a notice under the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act by Thurrock Council in June 2011. The notice was served followed complaints about the Tilbury property where a large amount of rubbish had accumulated created a risk of enticing vermin. It required the rubbish to be removed and steps taken to deal with any vermin which may have been there.
The vehicles were stopped as part of Operation Mermaid , the national campaign to rid the roads of unsafe or dangerously-driven commercial vehicles. THE INVESTIGATION into a £5.5 million money laundering scheme involving a railway company is about to enter its second year, says HMRC. Officers raided a number of properties in South Essex including a house in Grays back in March 2011.
Insp Neil Barrett said: "This has caused a considerable amount of stress and upset for the owner, who has been looking for the ponies since they went missing. We are keen to speak to anyone that was in the area at the time that may have seen this van or know who is responsible. POLICE are seeking information after a 29-year-old Romford man was assaulted at woodland, Danes Hole, Blackshots, Grays about 5.30pm on Sunday, March 11. The man was walking and pushing two bicycles. He was approached from behind by two men who knocked him to the ground and assaulted him.
