One letter read: “To all my brothers....be good and don’t be like me and kill someone. Get jobs so that you can be good men.” Scamp told the police: "I was asking my brothers to not be angry with my ex-boyfriend for assaulting me. Both letters looked like I have killed someone but it is my grammar, I am dyslexic".
As the interviews entered the second day, the questioning became more intense. DS Morgan returned to the last day Scamp was alleged to have seen Daniel “Dave” Thomas. In quick fire, she was asked: “Did you argue? Did you inflict an injury? Did you stab him? Did you cut his throat? Did you stab him in the abdomen? Did you stab him in the chest? On each occasion, Scamp said “No”
“It really does take callous thieves to do this to someone, and I am urging anyone that was in the area that saw these three, or knows who did this, to come forward to police. Thankfully this type of robbery is quite rare in this area, and we have been carrying out house to house enquiries and reviewing CCTV to see if it will give us any clues.”

A woman who lived in the flat above the shop managed to escape from her flat, she suffered from smoke inhalation as the smoke had entered her property. LETTERS detailing a violent confrontation were found underneath the bed in Maidstone where the teen accused of murdering Daniel "Dave Thomas was "being harboured", court heard today (Tuesday). The letters were read out to the jury at Chelmsford Crown Court on the fifth day of the trial of Priscilla Scamp, 18, Centurion Way, Purfleet, who is accused of murdering Daniel Thomas, 59, in a flat at 38a Darnley Road, Grays at or near to April 14th, last year.

Many fans turning up to the Grays Ath v Maldon and Tiptree fixture on January 8th at Rookery Hill were surprised to see two van-loads full of riot-trained police officers plus strategically positioned vehicles around the Corringham area. The tactical deployment was repeated at Barrows Farm, Harlow yesterday (Saturday) for the Ryman Division One North fixture. Outside the ground a large police van was joined by a further two vehicles as a dozen officers patrolled outside the ground.

She said: "He would shout out rude things at young girls in Grays high street. He would make comments to me when I was wearing summer clothes.
"On both occasions I told him that I thought that was inappropriate."
A “TEENAGE PROSTITUTE” slit the throat of her client and then stabbed him over 20 times before trying to pin the murder on someone else, a jury at Chelmsford High Court heard today. Hughes admitted seven counts of making indecent photographs of children and three counts of possessing indecent images of children when he appeared at Basildon Crown Court. An emergency meeting of the Stanford Scouts take place tonight (Tuesday) to discuss the situation.
