The end to cruising at Lakeside?

Police have been clear that in order to tackle the problem, changes needed to be made to the road layout. After years of discussion involving the police and the local authority the Chief Executive of the Highways Agency has written to the MP to confirm that the Highways Agency will deliver changes to the road layout at the A13/A126 roundabout as requested by the police. The changes are set to be implemented by the end of May.

Olympian Natasha Danvers visits William Edwards

NATASHA Danvers won the bronze medal at the 400 metre hurdles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was one of the special medals for the British team at the games because few believed Natasha would even get into the final. Infact due to her injury plagued year, some thought she shouldn't be on the team.

Car crashes into ditch in Purfleet

FIREFIGHTERS were called to an RTC involving two vehicles which had gone into a ditch. The incident occurred at Tank Hill Road, Purfleet at lunchtime yesterday. No one was trapped and crews made the vehicles safe, three people were placed in the care of the Ambulance Service by 12:49hrs.

“Racial road rage” leads to arrest in Grays

The alleged incident occurred around 6pm on Saturday evening on Orsett Road, Grays near to the Thameside Theatre. A man was arrested for using racially aggravated threatening behaviour and other public order offences.
