A MAN was rushed to hospital after being stabbed outside Grays Railway Station. Police were called to the station at just after 3.30pm this afternoon (Wed).
The attack happened at the junction of Arisdale Avenue and West Road shortly before 9:30am on Wednesday, July 2 when the female driver of a white Range Rover was approached by the passenger of a car which had been behind her. He then started punching her before he returned back to the car and was driven off.

TWO GRAYS brothers pleaded guilty to a number of burglaries at estate agents in Grays on Sunday night/Monday morning. Wesley Crooks (32) Morrison House, Grays and Steven Crooks (30) of Seabrook Rise, Grays were arrested following break-ins to Bairstow Eves and Haart on Orsett Road, Grays.
A COURT CASE into an allegation of drink-driving made against Thurrock UKIP councillor Robert Ray has been adjourned. The court was told that the Aveley cllr was in hospital. No further details were given.

POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man attempted to steal a teenage boy’s mobile phone at Corringham. The 16-year-old boy was at Mackley Drive near to the junction with Lyndhurst Road when he was grabbed by the shoulders and ordered to hand over the phone, which he was using at the time.
AROUND midday on Wednesday, June 11th a man using the name of Jonathan Roberts attended the home address of an elderly vulnerable couple and convinced them they needed some work doing to their roof. They couple paid the man £1,000 to fix their roof, which he was due to do the following day, but he never returned.
It is alleged they went into Ernest Jones at around 1pm on Thursday, June 12, opened a display cabinet and removed three Tag Heuer watches worth just over £10,000. A SENIOR Thurrock police officer, arrested on suspicion of a sexual offence, has been rebailed. Chief Inspector Ben Hodder, the district commander for Thurrock, was arrested on May 8.
The break-in happened in South Ockendon when thieves forced their way through the front door of a house on Cedar Rise between 3-4:30am on Thursday, June 5. Inside, they stole two sets of car keys and then the cars themselves, a grey Ford Mondeo and a silver Mazda MX-5, from outside.
